The Impact of Your Gift

From time to time we receive phone calls or letters from ministries that are at the receiving end of the generous grants recommended by NCCF donors.   One of those calls was especially exciting to hear as the woman on the other end of the phone said, "I am just calling because I am holding a check in my hand and I need to know if this is real!"  She went on to explain that the children's camp director and staff had just met the day prior and were not sure how they were going to pay some of their costs.  "Unless the Lord provided the way we were looking at closing the doors for the rest of the season."  The money provided through the NCCF donor advised fund was enough to keep the camp operational through the rest of the camping season.

It is my pleasure to be a small part of watching the grant recommendations come in and preparing the checks to go out - it is very exciting.  Each check is prayed over before it hits the U.S. mail.  In the face of a tough economy we are amazed at the generosity of our donors.  Over $13,000,000 passed through your hands into the waiting hands of approximately 300 ministry organizations.  You can visit some of these ministry websites by going to the "What Is Your Passion" page or by clicking on the link provided here.

The NCCF Donor Advised Fund is a vehicle for giving that blesses both the donor who gives and the person or organization that receives.  Your gifts are definitely life-giving.
